Service is appalling
I went to her to do braids & upon arrival there was someone else finishing her hair which for me wasn’t a big problem but for others they may not find that professional. She started my hair & kept stopping then at one point her & her mum were doing my hair. I didn’t mind as I finished earlier than intended. I paid her & left then she called me to say I owed her money when I was under the impression I had paid the full £85. When I got home I saw how big the spacing was in the middle & how different the braid sizes were. The front was the only part that looked acceptable. My sister who is a braided couldn’t believe what she saw on my head. Hopefully she conducts better business now.
Hairdresser was friendly, polite and really respectable however the quality of the style was poor.
This was due to the fact that the hair style had started unravelling after 2 days, although it was £150. Thankfully, she was willing to squeeze me in and re-do some of them (however only re did them from half way in the loc¿). I had to re-purchase hair which is an issue due to the fact that I already provided her with £45 to buy the correct hair. When I complained, she highlighted she had bought different hair textures this time, which she felt was the reason for it unraveling. The stylist shared she would not be refunding me but was only willing to help fix it.
My hair looks good from afar however a lot of them are still unraveling from the top and in between (which is noticeable once you’re close), she explained this is common in this style although this wasn’t specified in the booking. In regards to her normal locs service, it has been suggested from a friend that these are really long lasting!
